Five Senses : SMELL

The "LET YOUR SENSES RUN WILD" Campaign for 2013 allows show goers to discover each of the Five sense Taste, Hear, Touch, See and Smell all at one location.



SMELL

With Fresh Pies baking and cakes cooking, COON cheese sandwiches made fresh to order, crumpets with home and or jam, The smells of the show overwhelm you senses.

With every turn there is a new smell to experience, From hay to farm yard animals, from fresh being prepared to the smell of Fairy Floss in your hand. 

Show favourites include the Country Women’s Association Tea Room serve over 30,000 fresh scones during the show and the Fresh corn on a stick.






The Royal Easter show uses many outlets to promote the once a year event.

There are so many things to see at the Sydney Royal Easter Show 

Competitions are run daily to award the best of the categories, this does not only involve show animals, But Food Judging, Beer Judging, Cake judging and more




Five Senses : TOUCH

TOUCH 

With so many things to do and see the touch aspect has to be one of the best experiences available

So many activities allow children to be part of the Agricultural community 

While watching a demonstration on how to milk a cow, children are invited to touch and try the daily activities of farmers life.


Chook washing - Children are part of the experience and learn how to wash a chook 


FarmYard Nursery - children and adults alike feed, hold and touch the baby animals in a safe environment. 


With lots of attendants present children learn the difference between the hair of goat and the skin of the pig.


Five Senses : HEAR

                                                 HEAR



"Hear the sounds of laughter and live music around the Showground, the screams of fun and 

delight in the Coca-Cola Carnival, the roar of the crowd during the evening entertainment, 

and the unusual animal noises in the pavilions"

Of all the attractions of the show Darcy's Quest transforms the sights to sounds. With a Giant girl named Darcy she takes you on a journey of land with no animals.


Another Popular attraction is the FarmYard Nursery.





The sounds of the baby ducks, sheep, lamb and goats are truly a sound that you will never forget.
Children get to touch and hold and feed the baby animals some of which are born during the time of the show.

The Sydney Royal Beer and Wine Garden Showcases beer and wine from regional Australia and previous Winners of The Sydney Royal competitions.

Woolworths Fresh Food Dome

Each Year the Woolworths Fresh Food Dome displays food experiences ranging from where food comes from with the Bee Keepers and Honey Making stall, Exhibitors showcasing food and wine.

The Fresh Food Dome is famous for the District Exhibit displays which are all made of fruit Vegetables, Grains and Wool from across NSW and Queensland. The Dome is full of food and food related products from, Meat, to Seafood and Bakery to Deli as well as treats Chocolates and Hand- made lollies. 

Woolworths the official sponsor of the Easter Show has their own large stand full of samples from the stores. This year there are interactive games for children and adults alike, Sampling menus and even little free "Showbags" for children. The show bags include a Woolworths branded chef hat and apron.

The Sydney Royal Easter Show, Run by Royal Agricultural Society of NSW, rewards and promotes excellence in Agriculture Runs for Two Weeks usually over the Sydney school holidays and the Easter period.

Each year the country communities and the city join together to showcase the agricultural competitions, animal experiences and country entertainment

 Australia’s largest annual event, The Sydney Royal Easter Show attracts over 900,000 people each year. 

The Sydney Royal Easter Show uses Facebook, Twitter to interact with participants of the show, show goers and potential show goers, With over 52,000 followers on Facebook. 

Facebook is updated in the period leading up to show, during the show and as well as after the show if finished 

This year  The Sydney Royal Easter Show  has chosen 

LET YOUR SENSES RUN WILD"  as the theme.
